iCalendar Import / Export Airbnb Nightsbridge etc
Import and Export of Booked Dates
The iCalendar Feature is a way to synchronize your listing reservation data with other websites, only the booked dates, not invoices and pricing. For example, you published several properties on our Want2Stay website, but to maximize their exposure you also added them to more expensive services like Airbnb, Nightsbridge etc.
Now the challenge is to mark as Booked or Blocked (in your Vakansie Akkommodasie site) the dates that are booked on Airbnb and vice versa.
The Vakansie Akkommodasie iCalendar facility will be used only by 3rd party websites (like Airbnb, HomeAway, Nightsbridge etc) to read your calendar details so there is no breach of security either way.
Note if you access your iCalendar link directly you would see only an error message. This is ok – this is how it should function. After you created your listing on Want2Stay you can go to the add property/edit property page and go to the Calendar Section in the "My Listing" user dashboard. The export/import options are there. Merely copy your Nightbridge, Airbnb etc link into the provided slot and save. Done! Your listing's bookings on Want2Stay will now update, every 12 hours, from your 3rd party website listings.
To Fetch Airbnb Export Link: "Calendar exporting lets you view your Airbnb calendar on an external calendar that supports the iCal format. To export your calendar in iCal format and add it to your external calendar:
On airbnb.com go to Host and select Calendar
Click Availability settings in your calendar view
Under Sync calendars, select Export Calendar
Copy and paste the Airbnb calendar link into your iCal applications"
To export your Vakansie Akkommodasie booking information merely do the reverse by copying your Vakansie Akkommodasie iCal link and save the Vakansie Akkommodasie iCal link for example into your Nightsbridge link.

1. Log in at Nightsbridge,
2. Go to “Web Info”,
3. Click on “Room Type Info”,
4. Click on the “Room”,
5. Scroll to “iCal Link”,
6. Click on “ICal Read More”
7. and then copy the link
You remain in charge of your bookings. If you reject a booking Vakansie Akkommodasie will not penalize you. We will merely contact the guest and provide alternatives.
